Forget the Ring...

If you like it, you'd better put a condom on it.

Incurable gonorrhea may be next superbug

From msnbc.com...
An alarming new superbug may be on its way — an incurable form of gonorrhea. The disease, once easily killed with a shot of penicillin, is increasingly becoming drug-resistant. Soon, the world may face a version that can’t be killed by any known antibiotic, warned Catherine Ison, the director of the sexually transmitted bacteria reference library with the United Kingdom’s Health Protection Agency.

The moral is : humanity will sink, because of sex !
They told us so !!!
Hehe !

While I don't disagree that often times scare tactics are used to make people fear sex and cling to monogamy, condoms are still just plain good sense. And articles like this one, particularly for those of us in open/poly relationships, make diligence seem that much more important.

O tempora, o mores.

I'm scared this discussion will lead us quickly into a digression far from gonococci's preoccupations. Which by the way are probably to survive and spread, no matter the damage they cause.
A bit like humanity, if you see what I mean.
Humans have a brain but don't know yet how to make full use of. So yes they should use condoms. That makes good sense.
And gonococci should think of using a condom around their membrane since they have no brain, if I may express a stupid idea !
Everything would be for the best in the best of all possible worlds. All fucking quietly, from the microscopic to the macroscopic, in a fucking heavenly world ! Since producing and consuming seem to be the main.
There's nothing to fear from sex, not more from passion, nor any kind of instinct, as long as you remain in control.
Nothing to fear from monogamy. The question is not to cling to, but to make it bloom, come hell or high water from society excesses and its obsessional quests, that are nothing but the sign of a pathetic loss.
We are not bound to devour Mangas or super heroes stories, nor to stuff ourselves with big Macs. It makes us saddly sick. Obese and idiots.
We can read Faulkner and Baudelaire (Between two mangas and comics !)...
And we can make, of this indescribable ecstasy of bodies fusion, something different, giving a unique relationship its sense. The most beautiful one.
It's more a matter of wisdom, than moral standards.

Use condoms, yes !
But don't forget to think !
