Mittelschmerz - the German word for "middle pain".
Those crazy Germans. They have a word for everything.
I'm ovulating. And do you want to know how I know I'm ovulating? Because my ovaries are hung over. Seriously. Imagine the worst kind of hangover...say a champagne hangover. And then imagine that this hangover is not in your head but in your pelvic region.
And that, my dear bloggy friends, is what mittelschmerz feels like.
A great big Saturday morning hangover in my drawers.
