Mess 'o Mama's Bar-be-que

December 26: Soul food. What did you eat this year that you will never forget? What went into your mouth & touched your soul?

At the beginning of 2010, I was invited to participate in the Denver Masticators - a group of foodies who, once a month, gather together at a local eatery to eat...and eat...and eat.

We've had Polish, German, Lebanese (that was me), Snappin' Dogs, Vietnamese Fusion, Indian, and on and on and on.

I've eaten quite well this year.

And that's just with the Masticators.

Then, of course, there've been sushi nights at Japon and Korean at Uoki.

Take into account all the excellent Church O' Brunches there've been...at Lucile's, the Berkshire, Dazzles, Fuel, and on and on and on - that's alotta bacon - and, well, I think you get the idea.

And we've not even touched on the home cooked meals that I've made, that Sparky McSparky Pants made, that Jeff made!

Geez. And I'm wondering where that extra 20 pounds suddenly appeared from!

However, I still maintain that the best meal I had all year is the one meal that I described in full detail here.

Moishes in Montreal.

I love you, Moishes. I miss you. I want you. Now.
