What Is This Muck?

"Denver - where you all have 18 different weather patterns...in one day." -Ian Bagg

Twice in the last couple of weeks, the fine folk of Denver have come out of their homes in the morning to find their automobiles covered in mud.

For lack of a better phrase, we're calling this phenomenon mud rain. Because really? There is nothing else to call it.

For instance, a couple of days ago, my car was pretty sparkly relatively speaking. Then, yesterday morning? I went out to go to work and I barely recognized my car as it had gone from black to an interesting reddish clay color overnight.

I'm not sure what is causing this to occur but it's awfully gross.

The line for the car wash today was 6 cars deep.

Since it's supposed to rain/snow all weekend, I decided my car could wait to wash. Particularly not knowing whether this rain/snow we're predicted to get will include more mud rain.

38 years I've been alive. I've never experienced anything like this ever.

Is this a sign of the rapture? If it is, can I use your house for my BBQ?
